“Quaresimali Almond Biscuits” desserts are made with almonds, candied fruits and pistachios.
They are so-called because they took their name from the period in which there were made (Lenten) from Benedictine nuns. They keep the intense flavour of Sicilian almonds and pistachios.
Keep in a cool, dry place, in order to ensure freshness and softness.
Ingredients: ALMONDS, sugar, pasteurized EGG albumen, candied orange peel, pumpkin and pear, glucose syrup, colorant E217 and E142, powered sugar, wheat starch.
